Lazio demanding €25-30 million to sell Gustav Isaksen
Lazio will demand at least €25-30 million to sell Danish winger Gustav Isaksen, with Tottenham one of those very much keen to sign him.
According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Tottenham target Gustav Isaksen will cost at least €25-30 million this summer. Lazio are aware of the interest from elsewhere in their winger and might be willing to sell him for the above price, as Spurs boss Thomas Frank is a keen admirer of his compatriot’s talents.
Gustav Isaksen has been a key member of this Lazio side, and while their overall fortunes have been on the downside, the Dane has been growing in stature. There are some clubs interested in the winger, particularly Tottenham from the Premier League.
Tottenham have been interested since earlier in the year, and now with the arrival of Thomas Frank as their new manager, the club could push for Isaksen. The 24-year-old Serie A attacker was admired by Frank during his management of Brentford as he wanted him there at some stage.
He probably feels the 24-year-old Serie A attacker could be a good addition to this Tottenham side, who probably lack a profile such as Isaksen’s. Lazio are not keen to part ways with the player who has a contract there until 2028, although they know it could be difficult to keep hold of a player who has a club from the Premier League chasing him.
Lazio for their part, will demand at least €25-30 million to sell the 24-year-old Serie A attacker, as it’s difficult to see Isaksen leave for anything less. His talent certainly demands that level of money, as it remains to be seen whether Tottenham’s Frank does persuade the club to make the move.
Where does Gustav Isaksen fit in at Tottenham?
Tottenham could consider offloading Wilson Odobert, as this has been an idea on their minds for a few months now. With Champions League football set to return, Spurs do need a squad full of quality players, as Isaksen could be the replacement for Odobert and an alternative to Brennan Johnson.
A left-footed right-winger is what they lack, although the likes of Dejan Kulusevski is of a similar profile, but his future could be more central. Hence, someone like Isaksen could be a solid option to start many games as well as provide quality depth for the attacking setup.
