Andrew Robertson keen on Atletico Madrid move

Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has been linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks, with Atletico Madrid interested in hin.

Andrew Robertson is on the radar of Atletico Madrid, and he is keen on joining them, as per Fabrizio Romano. Liverpool are expected to bring in Milos Kerkez this summer, and he could replace the Scottish international.

Robertson has been underwhelming over the last 12 months, and he is clearly on the decline. Liverpool need to replace him during the summer transfer window, and signing the 21-year-old Hungarian would be ideal. Robertson is on high wages, and Liverpool need to get rid of him this summer. It remains to be seen whether they can agree on a deal with Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish outfit need more defensive quality and depth on the side. They have been linked with Tottenham defender Cristian Romero as well. It seems that they are looking to bring in a quality full-back as well.

Robertson would be a useful addition

Robertson has proven himself in the Premier League over the years, and he has been a useful servant for the Premier League champions. There is no doubt that he has the quality to do well in La Liga, and he could be a key player for Atletico Madrid. Their conservative approach could be a good fit for him at this stage of his career.

The Scottish international has been outstanding for Liverpool at both ends of the pitch, but his attacking game has regressed in recent months.

Liverpool are looking to build a team for the future, and it would be ideal for them to cash in on Robertson. He is unlikely to get any better at this stage of his career, and Liverpool should look to replace them as soon as possible.

The opportunity to play for Atletico Madrid will be quite exciting. They are among the biggest clubs in Spain, and they have multiple top-quality players. They have a world-class manager like Diego Simeone as well. Robertson has won major trophies in England, and he will look to win major trophies in Spain if the move goes through.
