Liverpool move for Bradley Barcola is not imminent

Liverpool have been linked with a potential summer move for 22-year-old PSG attacker, Bradley Barcola, in recent weeks.

According to a report by Give Me Sport, Liverpool have not made any concrete moves to sign Bradley Barcola, and he is likely to continue with UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain next season.

The player is valued at £100 million, and he would be an excellent acquisition for most teams. However, Liverpool have other priorities right now, and it seems unlikely that they will make their move for the French international.

The player had 40 goal contributions last season.  There is no doubt that he is a tremendous talent with a bright future, and he would have been an excellent acquisition for Liverpool. They have been overly reliant on Mohammed Salah and Lewis Dias on the flanks. Signing Barcola could have been ideal for them.

PSG will not want to lose a quality player like him as well. They will look to hold on to their key players and challenge for major trophies once again next year. They have won the league title and the Champions League this past season.

Liverpool are looking to build a formidable squad capable of defending their Premier League crown, and it is no surprise that they are looking at attackers. They are closing in on the capture of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. They should look to invest in a quality striker as well.

Darwin Nunez has not been able to score goals consistently, and Liverpool need a reliable finisher.

Barcola should stay at PSG

As for Bradley Barcola, he will look to continue his development with regular football at PSG. He has been a key player for them, and he will look to establish himself as one of the best players in European football.

Players like Luis Diaz have been linked with the move away from the club in recent weeks. Barcelona are reportedly keen on him. If Liverpool lose him this summer, they will need to replace him. The PSG attacker could be the ideal acquisition in theory. However, if the Colombian stays at the club, they will not be able to accommodate Barcola in the starting lineup. He will not want to join a club where he is not a regular starter.
