Bryan Mbeumo and his soaring stock
Bryan Mbeumo has been one of the best players in the Premier League in the last few seasons. The 25-year-old wreaked havoc with his tandem with Ivan Toney before striking a more productive partnership with Yoane Wissa. Both attackers were prolific in the 2024/25 season and often scored goals for fun.
The Cameroonian international contributed to 29 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net 20 times and providing nine assists. Meanwhile, Mbeumo’s exploits have not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs, including Newcastle United and Manchester United.
What next?

So, the Brentford star was a viable target for Newcastle United. However, they did not want to break their wage structure to accommodate the French-born winger.
As for Manchester United, recent reports have claimed that the Red Devils are closing in on signing Mbeumo from Brentford in the summer transfer window.
