Manchester United, Tottenham, Newcastle United keen on Evan Ndicka

Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle United are all interested in acquiring the services of AS Roma defender Evan Ndicka.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle United are all looking to reinforce their backline ahead of next season and have their eyes set on AS Roma’s Evan Ndicka. The Ivorian international has made quite a name for himself with his performances and he could be available this summer.

Ndicka made a name for himself with his consistent performances for Eintracht Frankfurt and it earned him a move to Roma in the summer of 2023. The 25-year-old has only gone from strength to strength since joining the Italian outfit.

He has established himself as a key figure in the team and his work hasn’t gone unnoticed. While he still has three years left on his deal at Roma, the report suggests the Ivorian could be on the move to a bigger club this summer.

Premier League trio wants Ndicka

Ndicka certainly has a lot of interest from clubs across Europe. Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham have all followed him very closely and they are quite keen on signing him this summer. Ruben Amorim wants to reinforce his backline ahead of next season and Ndicka is quite high on his wishlist.

With Victor Lindelof out of contract in the summer and Lisandro Martinez struggling to stay fit for long periods of time, United certainly need more quality as well as depth. Amorim prefers playing with a back three and he certainly needs more options at his disposal.

Meanwhile, the Magpies and Spurs are also keen on his signature. The Tyneside club wants to freshen things up at the back with Fabian Schar and Dan Burn in the final phase of their career. Meanwhile, the North London club are struggling to keep hold of Cristian Romero amidst interest from Atletico Madrid and they could look at Ndick as an ideal replacement.

Tottenham and United looking to steal a march

While it is not certain yet, the report suggests Roma could sanction an exit for a fee worth around €40 million. It could prove to be a bargain for someone of his quality. Eddie Howe’s team are yet to make any moves but according to a report from RMC Sport, Tottenham and United have already taken a step towards signing him.

Both English giants have made an enquiry to learn more about a potential transfer this summer. The 25-year-old could prove to be a valuable addition to both squads. As a result, it will be interesting to see who ends up winning the race for him.
