Kim Min-jae offered to Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham
Kim Min-Jae has been reported offered to the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham as Bayern Munich are ready to sell the South Korean.
According to TBR, Kim Min-Jae has been offered to Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham as he nears an exit from Bayern Munich. The South Korean could be surplus to requirements at the club following the arrival of Jonathan Tah.
Bayern Munich have signed Jonathan Tah on a free transfer from rivals Bayer Leverkusen, which could open the doors for the exit of an existing defender. Kim Min-jae and Dayot Upamecano are in danger of dropping out, although the Bavarians have indicated the possibility of a new deal for the latter.
Hence, the South Korean, a £51 million arrival from Napoli two years ago could be the man sacrificed to accommodate Jonathan Tah. The defender has interest from some of the top teams, with the South Korean reportedly being offered to the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham.
Manchester United might look into the defensive market as some experienced stars are leaving upon the expiry of their contracts. Hence, they might lack in numbers, and should a viable opportunity with the £51m Bayern Munich star arrive, they might look into it.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are also in the hunt for a new centre-back as they are willing to offload Tosin Adarabioyo and Trevoh Chalopbah, with West Ham United interested in the duo. They are lacking in quality at the back, with Wesley Fofana constantly injured, meaning there might be room for someone like Kim Min-jae.
Are Tottenham in the hunt for Kim Min-Jae?
Tottenham are eager to keep Cristian Romero, as the Argentine’s departure could push the club into searching for a replacement. Spurs could be in the mix for the £51m Bayern Munich star in the window, as he has been offered to them alongside Chelsea and Manchester United.
Kim Min-jae has proved his worth as a top defender, although there are some considerable doubts whether he fits into the system at Bayern Munich. Hence, the club could fetch a good enough amount in the market for the South Korean, as he might be the defender leaving the German giants.
