According to Football Insider, Manchester United are the firm favourites to land Bryan Mbeumo in the coming period, yet they are eager to close the deal on favourable terms. The Red Devils do not want to place the Cameroonian international on a higher wage bracket to avoid complications owing to past mistakes of a similar variety.

Manchester United are moving at a good pace in the transfer market, and contrary to expectations, they have managed to lure in top players. They announced the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves in a £62.5 million deal as soon as the window opened, and now they are on course towards their second arrival.

Bryan Mbeumo could be that player, with the Cameroonian international clear that Manchester United are his preferred club. He had one of his best seasons as a Brentford player, contributing to 29 goals across all competitions, with 28 of those coming in the Premier League.
