According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester City are exploring a move to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma (26) from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. This development follows the Italian international goalkeeper casting doubts over his future at the Parc des Princes following their UEFA Champions League final success against Inter. 

Pep Guardiola is said to be a fan of the former AC Milan goalkeeper and with no new contract signed, a move to the North Western England could be a potential option for the 26-year-old. The UEFA Champions League winners still hope to retain the services of Donnarumma and have opened talks over a potential contract extension.  

The Italian stopper’s current deal with PSG is set to expire in 2026. Talks between Donnarumma’s agent and Luis Campos over a new deal commenced over a month ago, but were postponed until the end of the season. It has been made clear to Les Parisiens what the goalkeeper would require to extend his contract with the Ligue 1 club and if these demands are not met, an exit could be the likely scenario.
