The Premier League giants have been keen on reinforcing their midfield unit in the summer transfer window by signing a versatile option. So, the AC Milan mainstay has emerged as a target for Pep Guardiola.

The Citizens have already reached an agreement to sign the Dutchman from AC Milan in the summer transfer window. Manchester City will cough up €70 million, including add-ons, to sign the former AZ Alkmaar midfielder, with only the “final bureaucratic details yet to be finalised”.

Tijjani Reijnders and his AC Milan journey so far

Tijjani Reijnders has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world since joining AC Milan from AZ Alkmaar in July 2023.
