Leroy Sane keen on Premier League return amid Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham links

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham have received a massive boost in their pursuit of Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sane.

According to a report from Football Insider, Leroy Sane seems to be living his final weeks at Bayern Munich. With his contract running out, the experienced winger could be available for free this summer and there is no shortage of interest in him. The German winger seems keen on securing a return to the Premier League which is a massive boost for Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea.

Sane was a part of the Manchester City setup before he made the move to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2020. He had an impressive four-year spell at the English club and has only gone from strength to strength since joining the German giants.

He has won numerous titles at Bayern Munich while contributing towards 116 goals in his 220 appearances for them. While the former Manchester City winger prefers playing on the right flank, he is equally effective on both sides. Sane was involved in a total of 45 matches during the 2024/25 season and he ended up contributing towards 19 goals.

While Leroy Sane remains an important part of their squad under Vincent Kompany, his future has been a big talking point of late with his contract running out this summer. The Bavarian giants have made attempts to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena, but Sane has rejected their offers.

Sane seems keen on parting ways with the club having switched agents recently, and he is listening to offers from elsewhere. While clubs from Spain, England and the Middle East are interested in him, the player is interested in securing a return to the Premier League and a move to London entices him amidst interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Premier League trio who could sign Sane

Leroy Sane’s desire to secure a return is a massive boost for all three London clubs. Ange Postecoglou seeks more firepower in the final third after a disappointing season where Tottenham finished 17th in the league. Winning the Europa League and securing Champions League football is a massive boost for Spurs, and it is one of the major reasons why they have been offered the chance to sign the German international.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are also interested in his signature. Mikel Arteta has worked with Sane at Manchester City and is well aware of the abilities he possesses. The 29-year-old could significantly bolster Arsenal’s attacking firepower and with the player set to be available for free, this could be a massive opportunity for them.

Chelsea are also in the mix for his signature. With Jadon Sancho failing to make a significant impact during his loan spell, the Blues are looking for more quality on the flanks, and Sane could be an ideal fit for them.
