Arsenal, Aston Villa, West Ham United vying for Evann Guessand

A host of Premier League sides are interested in OGC Nice star Evann Guessand after a consistent season in Ligue 1.

According to Caught Offside, Evann Guessand continues to attract massive interest from the Premier League with as many as three or four clubs interested in the forward. Arsenal, Aston Villa, and West Ham United are among those interested, while Manchester United are also thought to be monitoring his situation.

Evann Guessand has continued to attract eyeballs ahead of the summer, especially from the Premier League, and the striker could be on his way to a big move away from OGC Nice. The attacker has contributed to 21 goals for the Ligue 1 side, with at least three or four English teams showing an interest.

Manchester United are reportedly keen on the striker, as they continue to assess the market for new centre-forwards. There are links to Liam Delap as well as Viktor Gyokeres, with Arsenal also working to sign the Swede.

The Gunners are also in the mix for Guessand as they have a big need to sign a centre-forward in the summer. Sporting Director Andrea Berta has several names on his list, and he could look at the Ligue 1 attacking prospect either as an alternative to their main targets or as an additional striker ahead of the summer.

Aston Villa are also keen, with Unai Emery likely to lose Marcus Rashford once his loan spell ends. In addition, there are uncertainties surrounding Ollie Watkins’s future. The Midlands side were anyway expected to sign a new striker as a replacement for Jhon Duran, as Guessand could make a lot of sense for the club.

Evann Guessand to the Premier League?

West Ham United were linked in January, and the London outfit are in a desperate need to sign a prolific striker. The Hammers are unlikely to continue with Evan Ferguson’s loan deal beyond the summer, meaning there are some names they are monitoring in the market, one of those being Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen.

Meanwhile, there is a big chance for the young attacking prospect from OGC Nice to make his big career move to the Premier League in the summer. His next destination remains unclear, although there are doubts whether the big hitters will see him as a priority. However, West Ham and Aston Villa could potentially angle for a move.
