Chelsea formulate opening offer to sign Kenan Yildiz

Chelsea will reportedly aim to sign 19-year-old Turkish international Kenan Yildiz from Juventus in a deal worth €80 million in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Kenan Yildiz is the subject of interest from Chelsea. The Blues are combing the market for a versatile attacker and have set their sights on the Juventus wonderkid. They are ready to fork out €80 million to sign the Turkish international from the Serie A club.

Kenan Yildiz and his story so far

Kenan Yildiz has established himself as one of the best young prospects in Serie A since breaking into the first-team squad at Juventus. A native of Regensburg, the teenage sensation rose in prominence during his spell with Bayern Munich’s academy before seeing his stock soar at Juventus in the last few years.

The 19-year-old made his first-team bow for Juventus at the onset of the 2023/24 season and has not looked back since then. Yildiz has been excellent thus far in the ongoing campaign, contributing to 13 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net eight times and providing five assists.

Meanwhile, Yildiz’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe. Premier League bigwigs, in particular, are keen on signing the Turkish international, with Chelsea among the prospective suitors vying for his signature heading into the summer transfer window.

London calling?

Chelsea’s interest in Kenan Yildiz is understandable, even though Cole Palmer occupies the young Juventus attacker’s preferred situation. However, Yildiz is a versatile forward who can play across the frontline, making him an appealing target for Chelsea heading into the summer transfer window.

The Blues are scouring the market for a versatile attacker heading into the summer transfer window amid the inconsistencies of Jadon Sancho, Noni Madueke, and Pedro Neto. In addition, Mykhailo Mudryk has no future at Chelsea. So, Yildiz is a viable target, with Chelsea ready to offer €80 million to sign him from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

It is unclear how much the Serie A giants want to consider parting ways with the 19-year-old Turkish international in the summer transfer window. However, Chelsea will hope €80 million is enough to tempt Juventus to sanction the sale.
