Juventus Set to Be in the Mix for Sought-After Ndoye

Juventus recently lodged an extensive inquiry on Dan Ndoye, who’s being pursued by several teams ahead of the summer as he has completed his maturation this campaign. The Bianconeri especially like him for his versatility, Tuttomercatoweb informs.

The Bologna star has a €30M valuation. The Old Lady could dangle some makeweights to partially lower it, as they did with Aston Villa in the Douglas Luiz deal. The primary candidates for that purpose are some youngsters: Samuel Mbangula, Jonas Rouhi, Vasilije Adzic, and Nicolò Savona.

Juventus and Napoli kicked the tires on Ndoye in January. His departure wasn’t an option for the Felsinei at the time. They needed him to continue pursuing lofty objectives in Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

The Swiss talisman would be able to handle multiple positions in Igor Tudor’s scheme, which adds to his appeal. The Old Lady will likely make some adjustments on the wings. Francisco Conceiçao could be sent back to Porto after his loan spell. Kenan Yildiz and Andrea Cambiaso will draw hefty offers that might entice the management to cash in.

Our Take on Juventus and Ndoye

Unless they see Mbangula as next up, they’ll need one more pacey attacker if they don’t keep Conceiçao. It’d be constraining to use him as a wing-back, but Nicolas Gonzalez is doing it with decent success, so he’d have no problem. On the other hand, Bologna refused to bargain with them last summer after they lured Thiago Motta. We’ll see whether the bad blood is still there a year later and after the coach’s spell ended poorly.
